Why We Exist
At The Bridge Church, we believe Jesus is the only way to bridge the gap between a broken world and a loving God. God is calling us to stand in the gap for our community, pointing people to the hope we have through Jesus Christ.
Mission Statement:
By the Holy Spirit’s power, we exist to stand in the gap between a broken world and a loving God by pointing people to the hope that is ours through our eternal bridge, Jesus Christ.

We believe in one loving God, the Almighty Father, who is the creator of all things. God is sovereign, all-knowing, and loving. We believe God exists as three distinct persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit. All three have always existed, even before creation.

We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, who has existed with the Father from the very beginning. Through Jesus all things were made. For our salvation, He came down from heaven, and by the power of the Holy Spirit, became fully human, being born of the virgin, Mary. He was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died, was buried, and on the third day rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will never end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, who works in union with the Father and the Son. The Spirit is worshiped and glorified with them. He speaks through Scripture, leads us into truth, convicts of sin, empowers for ministry, and guides us in our walk with God.

We believe in one Church made up of all faithful followers of Jesus. The Church is not a building, but the people of God. We recognize one baptism and repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

We eagerly await the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. We believe God will send Jesus to judge the living and the dead. Those who trust Christ will experience eternal life with Him, and those who reject Him will face separation from God.
